- About FACITstamps
FACITstamps is run by Postiljonen AB (Org. No. 556116-4673) in cooperation with Facit Förlags AB. FACITstamps is owned by Postiljonen AB, which also owns Facit Förlags AB.
- Item Description and Grading
All items are described and graded according to industry standards and Swedish consumer trade practices.
- Prices: All prices shown on the website include VAT. Depending on the nature of the item, VAT is calculated either at the prevailing rate for the specific category or applied via the Margin Scheme (Vinstmarginalbeskattning) for second-hand goods/collectors' items. Please note that for items sold under the Margin Scheme, VAT is not deductible for VAT-registered businesses.
- Grading: All stamps are mint never hinged unless otherwise noted in the specific item description. Other condition ratings (e.g., unused with hinge or trace of hinge, used) represent our professional opinion unless the item is accompanied by a formal certificate of authenticity.
- Imagery: For unique items and most classic issues, the photographs provided are of the actual item you will receive. However, for unused single stamps and modern issues where we maintain multiple copies in identical condition, the image provided is a representative copy. While the specific stamp received may differ slightly in centering or perforation, it will strictly adhere to the grade described.
- Catalogues: Catalogues are sold as reference literature. We are not responsible for market price fluctuations occurring after the date of publication.
- Payment, Authorizations, and Billing
We utilize a Reserve-and-Capture payment process to ensure security and order accuracy.
- Minimum Order Value: We apply a minimum order value of SEK 200 per transaction (excluding shipping costs).
- Order Placement: A temporary authorization hold is placed on your payment method at the time of purchase. This reserves the funds but does not withdraw them from your account.
- Order Shipment: Your payment method is formally debited only when the order has been packed and is ready for dispatch (Aktivering).
- Invoice Payments (International): For customers choosing to pay by invoice outside of Sweden, we require advance payment in full before the order is dispatched.
- Refunds: For security reasons and to prevent fraud, all refunds will be issued exclusively to the original payment method (the same card or bank account) used for the initial transaction.
- Cancellations: If an order is cancelled prior to shipment, the authorization hold will be released.
- Shipping and Delivery
We maintain full discretion over the choice of carrier and shipping method based on order value, weight, and destination.
- Standard Mail (Orders under SEK 2000 within EU): For orders under SEK 2000 shipped within the European Union, we typically utilize standard postal mail, often philatelically franked with stamps. This method is untracked.
- Tracked Shipping (Orders over SEK 2000, heavy items, and/or delivery outside EU): All orders exceeding SEK 2000, heavy items (such as catalogues), and all orders destined for delivery outside the European Union are sent via a tracked service (e.g., PostNord, DHL, or UPS).
- Processing Time: We aim to dispatch most orders within two business days. Please note that more complex orders may require additional handling time.
- Delivery Delays: Once a package is handed to the carrier, delivery timelines are beyond our control. We are not liable for delays caused by postal delays, customs inspections, or weather.
- Returns and Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with the Swedish Distance Contracts Act (”Lag om distansavtal och avtal utanför affärslokaler”):
- 14-Day Return Right: You have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods.
- Item Condition: To receive a full refund, items must be returned in their original condition. Any depreciation in value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature of the items may be deducted.
- Catalogues: Must be returned in original condition with the shrink wrap intact. We cannot accept returns if the sealing has been broken.
- Shipping Costs: Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer unless the item was incorrectly described or is faulty.
- Complaints Procedure (Reklamation)
If an item is faulty or does not match the description, you have the right to file a complaint under the Swedish Consumer Sales Act.
- Notification: You must notify us of the defect within a reasonable time (within two months is always considered timely).
- Submission: Contact us at info@facitstamps.se with your order number and a clear description/evidence of the issue.
- Resolution: If the complaint is valid, we will first attempt to rectify the error or provide a replacement. If this is not possible, we will issue a refund to the original payment source.
- Authenticity Guarantee
- Certificates: If an item is sold with an existing third-party certificate, this will be stated in the description and provided with the lot.
- Guarantee: We guarantee the authenticity of our stamps. If an item, by a recognized expert authority, is proven to be a forgery, we will issue a 100% refund, including all shipping costs.
- Legal Information and Dispute Resolution
This policy is governed by the laws of Sweden. In the event of a dispute, you may contact the National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN) at www.arn.se or use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform (ODR).

The following is the privacy policy of Postiljonen AB including the FACITstamps and FFE brands and the associated companies Facit Förlags AB and Postiljonen A/S in Copenhagen (below referred to as “The Companies”, “we” or “us”).
Collection and Treatment of Personal Information
The Companies provide a number of services – for instance arranging stamp auctions, selling stamps and accessories, offering stamp subscriptions as well as producing and selling stamp catalogues and books.
In order to fulfill your (our customer’s) requests in relation to these services (such as consigning and bidding at auction, purchasing stamps, catalogues and subscriptions etc.), we need to collect and process certain personal information – normally name, address, telephone number, email address, and if necessary additional information such as credit card information and bank account information. We will not ask for, nor collect, any information that is not relevant in order to fulfill our obligations to you as a customer.
We will keep the relevant information for as long as you are an active customer and for a certain time afterwards, according to legal requirements. We will not share your information with other parties, unless required to fulfill our obligations to you (this might include shipping services, Internet Service Providers etc)..
Consent
Whenever you, as our customer, request a service from us, such as consigning, bidding or purchasing, we assume that you accept the collection and processing of whatever personal information is necessary to provide that service to you.
At any time, you may request full information about your personal data that is stored by us. You also have a legal right to have your personal data corrected or deleted, unless we are otherwise legally required.
At any time, you may instruct us not to contact you or send marketing material to you by email, letters, telephone or other means.
Websites
Our websites use session cookies. The cookie gets terminated when you close your browser. If you open a new browser a new cookie will be created. We save other info in the cookie as well such as a random value used to create an anonymous tracking statistic.
Changes
